Kevin has been running for 25+ years taking in experiences from x-country, track, road racing, trail running and in recent years joining in the ultra running community. Kevin's coaching experience was developed as a physical training instructor during 8 years within the Armed Forces. Teaching and coaching various sports including kayaking, climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking, strength and conditioning, circuits & personal training.
Kevin's Qualifications include:
Coach In Running Fitness (CiRF) - Scottish Athletics
NVQ L3 Learning and Developing
NVQ L2 in Sport, Recreation and Allied Occupations; Coaching, Teaching and Instructing
Kevin has completed over 25 ultra distance races in the last 7 years, prior to this he has ran x-country, hill and road races from 3km -26.2 miles.
Kevin has coached 20+ runners help achieve their goals, many gaining multiple P.B's in distances from 5km - ultra distances.
Evolve running has been created by a runner for runners, with the aim of providing specific coaching for individuals needs.
